Upon receiving an invitation to attend a meeting from the Maltese Literary Group, author Sharon Spiteri was pleased to speak to the group about her motivation behind writing her new book “Traditional Sweet Recipes From Malta” and signing copies for the attending members.

The Maltese Literary Group holds monthly meetings in Parkville at the Maltese Community centre in Melbourne.

Visiting authors from both Malta and interstate have been welcomed and books have been launched at these meetings. This library has the largest collection of Maltese books here in Australia.

The literary group has worked very hard to establish this extensive Maltese Library here in Melbourne which is available to the community at large and has also supported the Maltese Language school of Victoria.
